Umia Sports organized two friendly matches between a select team of Barcelona area players and America's Team, a team formed by 10 players all over Michigan leaded by coach Ryan L. Cunningham.
Both games took place in Badia del Valles' gym and were very well matched. First of them was won by America's Team (43-49) in an outstanding 4th quarter for he Michigan girls who overcome a 12 points deficit. In the second game the American players shot with a lot of confidence nailing more than 10 three's but the Umia Sports team played a very nice passing game in the final part of the game to deserve the victory (69-60).
Between the games both teams had a picnic together and after the last game they changed theirs shirts, a real prove of the friendship grown up these days between the girls of different countries and cultures.
We are very proud to manage that international friendly matches and we can't wait to keep on organizing more!
